Fees
Every buy and every sell pays 3%, always in ETH, taken by the pool’s hook, the contract that runs every swap.
| Where it goes | Share | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Stocks for holders | 2% | Goes to the market’s treasury, which buys its basket of Stock Tokens |
| $MAND buyback and burn | 1% | Buys $MAND back and burns it |
| Creator, team, anyone else | 0% | Nobody else takes a cut |
- On a buy, the 3% is taken from the ETH you pay; the rest buys the tokens.
- On a sell, the 3% is taken from the ETH the pool pays out; you receive the rest.
- The split is the same on every token, set in the hook.
Shown before you sign
The trade panel lists the fee lines in ETH before your wallet opens: stocks for holders, $MAND buyback, and your slippage limit. They are what the contract takes, to the wei.
Example: a buy of 1 ETH
| ETH | |
|---|---|
| You pay | 1.000 |
| To the pool, for the tokens | 0.970 |
| Set aside for stocks | 0.020 |
| $MAND buyback | 0.010 |
Other costs
- Gas on Robinhood Chain, paid in ETH, is small.
- Launching a token costs a small creation fee, shown on the launch screen before you sign.
- Claiming costs only its gas.
$MAND is the exception
$MAND, the protocol token, trades on Pons, not on a Mandate pool. It pays 3% a side there:
| Where it goes | Share |
|---|---|
| $MAND’s stock treasury (SPY and QQQ for its holders) | 2% |
| Pons fee | 1%: 0.3% to Pons, 0.7% to the Mandate team |
See $MAND.
